Hamas posed a long-term threat to Israel, Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) chief Yuval Diskin told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Monday morning.
Despite their recent hints at moderation, Diskin told the committee, the terror organization's ultimate goal was still Israel's destruction.
