Fake diamond dealer to receive remand extension

Police on Wednesday morning were requesting to extend the remand of a man arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of fraud in the diamond market. The 47-year-old resident of Kiryat Motzkin reportedly presented himself as a diamond dealer, offering attractive deals outside the country to members of the stock exchange in return for merchandise. The man would take the diamonds worth millions of dollars, and then allegedly cut off all contacts with the gem providers, Army Radio reported.
