The Israel Prison Service decided on Thursday to release former Israel international soccer player Felix Halfon from jail for good behavior.
Halfon was sentenced in February 2004 to four and a half years in prison for drugs trafficking offences.
The 31-year-old was arrested after his accomplice, Uri Avital, was caught at Ben-Gurion Airport with five kilograms of cocaine which he imported from Venezuela, Israel Radio reported.
