Former police commissioner Assaf Hefetz doesn't rule out the possibility of returning for another tenure if Yaakov Ganot's appointment falls through.
Army Radio reported Tuesday afternoon that Ganot was considering giving up the position, following the criticism over the appointment.
Ganot, however, later announced that he would accept the position.
