Groups to oversee Winograd implementation okayed

The government has authorized Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's request that a ministerial committee be established, headed by the prime minister, to oversee the implementation of the Winograd report's recommendations. The government also authorized the establishment of an external group, with former IDF Chief of General Staff Lt. -Gen. (res.) Amnon Lipkin-Shahak at its head, to examine the methods in which to implement the conclusions drawn from the interim report.
