Haifa: Mother and son lightly injured by car explosion; cause unknown

A 37-year-old woman and her 7-year-old son were lightly injured on Sunday by an explosion in a car in one of Haifa's main streets.
Magen David Adom evacuated the two to the city's Rambam Hospital to receive medical attention.
Police said they trying to determine the cause of the explosion, but said that it most likely the result of a technical problem in the vehicle.
