Halutz: How, after 6 years, did we get into a war?

Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz said one needs to wonder about the origins of the current conflict. "We need to ask ourselves how, after six years, did we get to the point of war with Lebanon," he said. Despite predictions that the military operation will need at least another week to achieve its goals, Halutz confirmed Saturday night that the operation could end at any given time. "Whenever we are asked by the political echelon to stop, we will stop," he said during a live interview on Channel 10.
