Halutz to consult with Peretz on Lebanon violence

IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Dan Halutz finished his security consultations in the war room of the Kiryah in Tel Aviv on Wednesday afternoon and was on his way to consult with Defense Minister Amir Peretz on the eruption of violence along the Lebanese border. A senior IDF officer said the military was preparing for a large operation against Lebanon, and that communities along the northern border had been instructed to prepare accordingly.
