Jerusalem's Shabbat Square and Yehezkel Street were closed to traffic Thursday evening after crowds of haredim from the Eda Haredit sect continued to demonstrate violently against the arrest of Yisrael Valis, 19, who is accused of beating his infant son to death.
Police were working to restore order, Army Radio reported.
