High Court rejects petition to hold another debate in Katsav case

The High Court of Justice on Monday rejected a petition submitted by social groups to hold another debate on its previous decision not to interfere in the plea bargain deal agreed upon by state prosecution and the legal team of former president Moshe Katsav.
The decision has now paved the way for the case to reach the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, when Katsav is expected to admit to the charges inked in the plea bargain.
