Histadrut Chairman Ofer Eini has threatened to call another general public sector strike if negotiations over the delayed salaries of the local authorities are not completed soon, Army Radio reported on Thursday.
The Finance Ministry and the Histadrut have been at loggerheads over the salary issue since last year. The Histadrut called a general strike at the end of November that only lasted one day, pending a resolution of the problem.
