Hundreds of people were participating in Haifa's first Gay Pride Parade on Thursday afternoon.
Earlier, a Jerusalem city council member who is active on behalf of the gay and lesbian community received death threats after Jerusalem police approved the gay pride parade planned for the city on June 21.
