Hamas legislator Sheikh Muhammad Abu-Tir was arrested by Jerusalem police Wednesday.
Police said he and several others were engaged in illegal political activity at the Augusta Victoria Hospital in east Jerusalem.
Abu-Tir was warned by the police in late January not to undertake political activity in Jerusalem.
