Jewish protesters smash car windshields in Arab neighborhood of Hebron

Several Jewish residents of Hebron entered the Arab neighborhood of Jabel Jouhar in the city on Saturday evening, and, after Palestinians pelted them with stones, broke the windshields of at least 15 cars. A few of the settlers tried to infiltrate the blocked up "Beit Hashalom," a building that was evacuated by the IDF several months ago. A 15-year-old teen was detained for questioning by police. The residents were protesting the IDF's plan to open to Palestinian traffic the Zion Road, which connects the Cave of the Patriarchs with the town of Kiryat Arba.
