The security around police commissioner Insp.-Gen. Moshe Karadi has been heightened after a right-wing web site showed a picture of him in Nazi uniform.
"These are things that signal that it is necessary to increase his security," a police source said on Wednesday, although he refuted reports that there have been threats to his life.
The increased security includes assigning him more bodyguards and increasing the number of checks that are carried out when he travels.
