Kassam rocket falls in w. Negev; none wounded

A Kassam rocket slammed into a field in the western Negev Wednesday morning, one day after Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal pledged that his organization would end missile attacks and violence against Israel. No injuries were reported in the attack. However, unspecified damage was caused at the site of the missile's impact, which was near one of the Jewish communities that border the northern Gaza Strip, according to an Army Radio report.
