Strategic Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Wednesday that by refraining from acting against Iran, European leaders were showing that they were prepared to sacrifice Israel for the sake of their economic interests.
Speaking at a meeting with members of the American Jewish Committee, Lieberman compared the current situation to the state of affairs before World War II.
The AJC delegation was to meet shortly with Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
