Litzman walks out on Iranian health minister's speech at WHO meeting

To protest the speech delivered by Iran's health minister, Deputy Health Minister Ya'acov Litzman demonstratively left the hall in Geneva where the World Health Organization (WHO) was holding its annual assembly on Tuesday. Litzman left the premises in protest against a Palestinian resolution that denounced Israel. When he spoke, some representatives of Arab countries left the hall as well. Litzman noted that Israel gives medical aid to Palestinians especially in times of emergency. "We often find ourselves in a paradox when a terrorist and his victims are hospitalized one near the other in Israeli hospitals and receive identical treatment," added the United Torah Judaism MK.
