Meretz-Yahad was scheduled to meet Monday to establish a new policy towards the Palestinians in light of Hamas's victory in the Palestinian Authority legislative elections.
Meretz still sees the Geneva Initiative as the preferred plan for bringing peace to the region, but the political upset in the PA will force the party to reexamine its foreign policy, Israel Radio reported.
