Hadash MK Muhammad Barakei accused Israel on Tuesday of killing and detaining people remorselessly.
"Israel, which pretends to present itself as a democratic country, allows itself to blow up, kill and arrest people without any remorse," Barakei said in a speech in Tulkarm in honor of Palestinian Prisoner Day.
Barakei added that "thousands of Palestinian prisoners have been in jail for a year as part of administrative arrests, and no accusations have been leveled against them during the time they have been sitting in captivity."
