Mofaz: If elected, Likud won't quit PM's gov't

Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz stated Thursday that if he would be elected Likud Party chairman, he would keep the party in the government until the elections on March 28, 2006. Mofaz was set to run alongside five other candidates for the Likud primaries set for December 19. He told Israel Radio that he spent great efforts deliberating whether to stay in the Likud or join Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's new party 'Kadima.'
