National Labor Court to oversee University negotiations

The senior lecturers and the university presidents will continue their negotiations under the auspices of the National Labor Court, it was decided Thursday afternoon.
The decision came after a meeting at the court between the lawyers for each party. The sides, and their lawyers, will meet again at the court at 1:00 p.m. Monday. Finance Ministry Wage Director Eli Cohen will also be invited to the meeting.
The professors were supposed to respond by Sunday to the presidents' petition to the
court, but Labor Court President Steve Adler decided that there was no need to respond before Monday's meeting.
