The Education Ministry allocated some two million shekels on Tuesday to set up summer camps for around 6,000 children from Sderot and the neighborhoods surrounding the Gaza Strip.
Following a tour of the region on Monday, Education Minister Yuli Tamir said, "Although the Kassam rocket attacks cannot not be stopped, we can help the children (of these communities) by creating a normal lifestyle for them."
