The Knesset Finance Committee instructed the Treasury on Monday to transfer NIS 52 million to protect schools near the Gaza Strip from Kassam rocket fire.
Committee Chairman MK Ya'acov Litzman (UTJ) said that the panel would summon officials from the Finance and Defense ministries to its next session on Wednesday to report if the funds had reached the 46 communities bordering the Gaza Strip.
