Number of millionaires in Israel rises by 20%

The number of millionaires in Israel rose by 20 percent last year, two and a half times the global rate. There were 7,400 Israelis who owned more than $1 million in cash, not counting stocks or other property. 84 people had at least $30 million in cash, which classified them as multimillionaires. The facts were reported by the investment banking firm Merrill Lynch.
