Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Tuesday proposed stationing international forces along the Gaza Strip's volatile border with Egypt to prevent arms from reaching the Palestinians.
"We must give weighty consideration to the possibility of stationing a multinational force… in the Philadelfi Corridor, in order to curb the growing strength of extremist forces," Olmert said today during a meeting with Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxime Verhagen.
