Responding to criticism over the government's failure to adequately protect Sderot residents from Kassam rockets, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said on Saturday that the schools in the city were protected.
During a visit to an elementary school in Ramallah, Olmert also said that 13 additional schools were to be built in Sderot.
