A Palestinian was killed Saturday morning by IDF shelling in a village near Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinian witnesses reported.
The witnesses said the man was an Islamic Jihad operative and had been in a firefight with IDF forces.
Palestinians said the IDF has been operating in the village for the past few days.
