Authorities were investigating a marine incident which left five children injured - including two seriously - when two speedboats collided in an Eilat port on Tuesday afternoon.
Magen David Adom teams resuscitated the two seriously injured boys and evacuated them to Josephthal Hospital in the city.
A motorboat rammed into a floatation device carrying the vacationers which was tied to another motorboat docked near the Neviot beach.
An initial investigation found that the oncoming boat deviated from its course and slammed into the docked boat. The first boat was confiscated and its drivers were brought into custody for further investigation.
