The price of milk went up by 4 percent on Wednesday, and is expected to rise an additional 3% after the High Holidays, Army Radio reported.
According to the report, the price increase is in response to a world milk shortage which was caused by a rise in milk consumption in China, and by the increase in the price of cow feed.
