Ramon and Olmert meet to discuss return to gov't

The Prime Minister's office released a statement saying that former Justice Minsiter Haim Ramon and Prime Minister Ehud Olmert met on Sunday. The two decided that Ramon would not join the government yet even though ten days ago, the courts said that he could return to politics. Ramon will first complete his community service - the sentence he received for forcibly kissing a 20-year-old female soldier without her consent - and then meet to discuss the possibility of joining the government. There was no comment from either side about the report that he was considering quitting the Knesset now.
