Prime Minister Ehud Olmert still had the majority's support inside his ruling party Kadima on Wednesday, Channel 2 reported.
Reportedly, at the end of an emergency faction meeting, 26 of 29 Kadima lawmakers expressed their support for Olmert, while only three called for his resignation.
The three were Tzipi Livni, who announced she would not resign herself during a press conference she gave earlier Wednesday, coalition chairman Avigdor Yitzhaki, who resigned early Wednesday and Marina Solodkin, Kadima's No. 5.
