Palestinian hospital officials reported Friday morning an IAF airstrike had killed one terror operative and wounded three others.
The army said aircraft fired at four armed Palestinians where there were exchanges of fire earlier.
Palestinians responded to the new offensive with a general call to arms alongside appeals for international intervention.
