The leader of the Islamic Movement's northern branch, Sheikh Raed Salah, arrived at the Jerusalem Magistrates' Court on Wednesday afternoon for a discussion on the charges against him - namely, attacking police during a demonstration against the Mughrabi excavation near the Temple Mount.
A group of right-wing activists, including Itamar Ben-Gvir, came to the court, as well, where they began shouting at Salah and several dozen members of his organization who accompanied him.
Salah was one of numerous Islamic and Arab leaders who called for jihad over the Mughrabi construction work, claiming it would damage the Al Aksa Mosque.
