Thousands of right-wing activists planned to head to the former settlement of Homesh on Sunday morning to mark two years since it was dismantled in the disengagement. Large army and police forces were preparing to prevent the activists from reaching the site, which the IDF has prohibited due to security concerns. The activists had originally planned to make the trip - the latest of several such trips - last Tuesday, but pushed it off because "we will not allow the IDF to determine our schedule for us. We will return to Homesh by Tisha Be'av at a time that works for us."
