'Road Safety Authority understands nothing about road safety'

Former Road Safety Authority chairman Dr. Yoav Sarna strongly criticized the authority's members, saying that "none of them understand anything about road safety or transport infrastructure and this poor level of understanding brings mediocrity," Israel Radio reported Saturday.
Sarna, who is now head of the Israel Building and Infrastructures Engineers, called the Road Safety Authority law "insufficient," adding that the authority "lacks teeth."
