Palestinians fired five rockets into southern Israel on Saturday morning with one hitting a synagogue in a community in the western Negev, Army Radio reported.
None of the worshippers were wounded as the attack occurred during a break in morning prayers. Heavy damage to the structure was reported.
The other four rockets landed in open areas causing no casualties.
