Soldier allegedly beaten by commanding officer

Military Police have launched an investigation to probe the alleged beating of a soldier, from the Hiram formation of the northern regional division, by one of his commanding officers. The soldier who was allegedly beaten up by his commander filed a complaint with Military Police on Tuesday, and received treatment in the trauma ward of a hospital before returning to his home. The IDF spokesman said the Military Police hoped to question all those involved on Wednesday and hand over their findings to the military prosecutor for review. OC Northern Command Maj.- Gen. Udi Adam said he views all use of violence seriously and instructed investigators to complete the probe as soon as possible.
