Sonia Peres, the wife of Vice Premier Shimon Peres, was hospitalized at Sheba Hospital at Tel Hashomer overnight Thursday.
Hospital officials reported that Mrs. Peres had undergone a series of tests and was in the cardiac intensive care unit in stable condition. The hospital stressed that her life was not in danger.
