State to indict Trojan horse spy program creators

The state on Tuesday informed Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court that it would file indictments against the Trojan horse spy program creators Ruth and Michael Efrati within the next five days and asked for an extension of their remand in custody until then. According to a preliminary indictment presented to the court, Ruth Efrati emerged as the active marketer, disseminator and installer of the program, while Michael Efrafti, the program developer, was charged with being her assistant. Ruth Efrati was accused of working with three private investigation companies in Israel and installing the spy program on behalf of the companies' business clients. The heads of the three companies are currently on trial for their alleged roles in the illegal activities.
