An investigation conducted by the Fire Fighting Services raised the suspicion on Tuesday that the fire that decimated large areas of forestry near Tirat Hacarmel on Sunday was caused by arson.
The probe found that the flames originated in three separate locations, implying that the fire was intentional. Police and fire fighters suspected that arsonists intended to burn down the whole forest.
