Suspected teen molester arrested at Ben Gurion

A 58-year-old Israeli man suspected of sexually molesting a group of Jerusalem teens was arrested Tuesday at Ben Gurion International Airport trying to leave the country, police said. The alleged child abuser is suspected of abusing the 14-17 year old male teens, whom he befriended by giving them money and buying them food. The suspect would then invite his young victims to city hotels for a meal, which he would drug, after which he would sexually molest the teens in a hotel room when their senses were dimmed by the drug, Jerusalem police spokeswoman Sigal Toledo said. The suspect, who denies the allegations against him, was remanded for two weeks by agreement, and was sent to a Jerusalem psychiatric hospital for observation.
