The pedestrian hit and killed by a car at the Herzl-Yehuda Halevy junction in Ashdod Sunday is Michael Tsel, 84. Medics who arrived at the scene declared him dead.
In another accident, a 7-year-old girl was run over at the entrance to Kfar Tsur near Jerusalem. The child was taken to the nearest medical center but died later of her wounds.
