The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, the body that awards the Oscars, has just released the short list of nine films from which the five
nominees for Best Foreign Language Film will be drawn, and Israel's entry, Ari Folman's Waltz with Bashir, is on it.
Bashir, which just won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film, has won a host of other awards around the world, as well as the Israeli Ophir Award for Best Picture.
