The World Zionist Organization and the Jewish Agency have begun an Internet campaign to gather signatures in opposition of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's anti-Semitic statements and Holocaust denial.
"The words of the Iranian president are provocative and we must not ignore them," said the campaign's initiator WZO executive board member Shlomo Molla. "The aggressive anti-Semitic campaign led by Ahmadinejad, which is influencing millions of people, is not less dangerous than Iran's attempt to develop nuclear weapons," he added.
The online protest site, reachable through the Jewish Agency's Web site, also includes an opportunity for Internet users to send a protest letter directly to the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
