Yossi Inbar chosen as Environment Ministry director-general

Environmental Protection Minister Gilad Erdan (Likud) announced Wednesday that he had chosen Dr. Yossi Inbar, 53, as the new director-general of the
ministry. Inbar was deputy director-general under the previous minister, Gideon Ezra (Kadima).
Inbar has been with the ministry since 1991 and is well versed in all of the country's environmental issues after more than 28 years of working in
the field in a variety of areas, according to his ministry biography.
Inbar has three degrees from the Rehovot-based Agriculture Faculty of the Hebrew
University of Jerusalem.
Born in Tel Aviv, he is married and the father of two boys who are both officers in the IDF.
Inbar is a major in the IDF reserves.
