Neturei Karta attempt to assault Lupolianski in Connecticut

A group of Jewish extremists from the vehemently anti-Zionist Neturei Karta organization tried to assault Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupolianski during a Saturday night address in Connecticut, the mayor's spokesman said Sunday. A couple dozen activists from the small radical organization armed with placards denouncing the haredi mayor's cooperation with the 'Zionist Regime' were barred by police from entering the hall where the mayor was speaking, Lupolianski spokesman Gidi Schmerling said.
