“Lockdown” was released in 2024 on Shyfrin Alliance’s album, “Upside Down Blues.”
During the COVID lockdown of 2019-2020, the world fell silent, and it seemed that the only sound heard was the siren of ambulances. Hospitals were overwhelmed, and dread, anxiety, and uncertainty clouded the forecast for tomorrow.
We were depressed and frightened, and we realized that tomorrow might not come. But despondency is not a solution. We can hear G-d and ourselves better in the silence.
At that moment, I recalled the story about the giving of manna. In the Torah, we read:
“ This is what G-d has commanded: Gather it according to each man to eat….( Exodus 16:16)
“ Moses said to them: Let no man have any of it over until morning”(Exodus 16:19)
“But they did not listen to Moses, and some people left some of it over until morning, and it became maggoty”(Exodus 16:20)
I posed a question: “Why didn’t G-d allow the Jewish people to have manna for a few days in advance? What would have been wrong with that?”
The answer is simple. We have nothing for tomorrow – no food, no money, and no life, unless
G-d gives us manna the next morning.
What should we do? We must rely on G-d and SAVE OUR TIME FOR LOVE-TODAY.
But that’s not the end of the story. One day, G-d will decide that tomorrow will never come for us in this part of the Information Space.
Some people might ask: What was the point of saving time for love if the end is the same?
Here is the answer: Nothing disappears in the Information Space. Before the Sin of the First Man, the concepts of Good and Evil didn’t exist in actuality. The First Man lived in the realm of Absolute Love and Mercy.
That’s the realm to which we must return. The more love we have in our reality, the more we are connected to the realm of Absolute Love and Mercy.
SAVE YOUR TIME FOR LOVE!
