1 YOUTH WING JOURNEYARD: UNDER THE SHADE OF A HOT AIR BALLOON Children are invited to travel to Africa, India and Japan, and take a voyage through time and space. At each stop there will be activities leading to an expedition to one to the Museum exhibitions. Among the many contact points, there will be an inflatable elephant in the Art Garden, a climb inside Big Bambú, a group of dancers crawling on gallery floors and a masked procession in which the public is invited to take part. When: Ongoing, at the Shrine of the Book Complex, Hebrew with English subtitles, 20 minutes. 7 ACTIVE TOUR: JOURNEY TO FARAWAY LANDS Discover distant lands and cultures in a guided tour of the Museum's galleries with games, special activities and a realistic “passport.” When: August, every day, including Sat. 10:30 a.m.; 12:30 p.m. For children ages six and up, NIS 15. 'JOURNEY' EXHIBITION HAPPENING Performances, travel stories and movies, explorers' travelogues, movement workshop and souvenir and exotic food fair, followed by a spectacular show at the foot of Big Bambú. No extra charge. 8 WISE AT NIGHT - CELEBRATING THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR An enchanted evening of study sessions and creative activities with artists, lecturers, curators and instructors. The evening will include theme-oriented gallery tours, hands-on experimenting with color and material, meetings with artists, live music and more.
