Paz oil company sues Haifa for return of taxes

The Paz oil company is suing the Haifa municipality for the return of NIS 2.8 million in municipal taxes that it says it has been wrongly charged over the past decade, reports Yediot Haifa. The company says the taxes on its 103-dunam industrial facility have been charged at too high a rate since 1997, and it is asking the Haifa district court to return the excess. The city has not yet filed its defense.
